Women’s studies to host One Billion Rising event, Feb. 14

The nationwide One Billion Rising event will be held locally 12:15-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, in the Free Speech Area at Fresno State. Presented by the Department of Women’s Studies, the national movement raises awareness for physical and sexual abuse of women around the globe. The event is free and open to the public.
