A power outage caused by a single vehicle car accident on Chestnut north of Barstow Avenue earlier this morning left parts of the University Farm Laboratory in the dark, including the Rue and Gwen Gibson Farm Market.
The northbound lane of Chestnut remains closed this morning while repair is under way.
Fresno State farm manager Mike Mosinski said a PG&E crew is on scene and expects full power to be restored by this afternoon.
The market was closed until 10:30 a.m. when a back-up generator restored power. Gibson Farm Market updates are available online
