A group of 5th and 6th grade students from Lindsay will visit Fresno State to view the massive willow branch sculpture created by internationally renowned artist Patrick Dougherty and several student and community volunteers last semester. A community volunteer will be on-site to discuss the sculpture with the children 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, March 7-8. The installation, located on the Maple Mall west of the Conley Arts Building, addresses the theme “Consumption and Sustainability” as part of the Center for Creativity and the Arts’ Green Art Project.
