Middle East specialist and author Gregory Aftandilian will present “Trans-Generational Trauma: The Impact of the Armenian Genocide on the Second Generation,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, at the Alice Peters Auditorium in the Peters Business Building, Room 191. Aftandilian, who has  worked for the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the U.S. Department of State, will present research findings about how World War II brought the memory of the Armenian Genocide to the forefront within Armenian-American families.
