Raul Moreno, coordinator of Fresno State’s University Migrant Program, will be
honored by the Fresno Latino Rotary Club at its ‘Roaring 20’s’ Gala, 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Radisson Hotel (2233 Ventura St.). Moreno will be honored for his continued dedication and service to undocumented students, farm workers’ children and students. Moreno also is the 2013-14 president of the Latino Faculty Staff Association at Fresno State and founder of the Education Leadership Foundation, an independent nonprofit community organization off campus.
