The second annual CLEAR Mentoring Summit 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday Oct. 25 in the North Gym at Fresno State will bring educators, community organizers and business sector leaders from throughout the state to discuss educational and social disparities via advocacy, leadership development and mentoring. A slate of guest speakers will be led by keynote speaker Carlos A. Garcia, former superintendent of Fresno Unified School District. The event which will also feature workshops in the Madden Library and University Student Union, is presented by Lozano Smith, LLP, a California education and public agency law firm, in partnership with the Center for Leadership, Equity and Research program and Fresno State.
