Fresno State’s CineCulture program will partner with Fresno Filmworks to screen “We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks,” 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at the Tower Theater in Fresno (815 E. Olive Ave). From Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney, the movie details the creation of Julian Assange’s controversial website WikiLeaks. The screening is co-sponsored by ACLU Greater Fresno Chapter, Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom Fresno Branch and the Community Alliance newspaper. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for students and seniors and may be purchased in advance at the Tower Theatre box office.
