Fresno State Athletics held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Meyers Family Sports Medicine Center Sept. 20 before the Bulldogs’ home football game versus Boise State. The ceremony honored Marvin Meyers, the Meyers Family and other benefactors that supported the project. Meyers and Fresno State Director of Athletics Thomas Boeh spoke at the event. The center will be used by Fresno State student-athletes for preventative medicine, nutritional counseling, physician examination, injury treatment, on-site x-ray and rehabilitation services.
