The film “Breaking News, Breaking Down,” a winner of the 2010 Cannes Independent Film Festival, will be screened 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 in the University Business Center Alice Peters Auditorium, room 191 (Peters Business Building). Presented by the Fresno State Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) club and SAG-AFTRA, the film offers a revealing look at how journalists pursue breaking news, from 9/11 to Katrina, with little consideration of the personal toll of reporting tragic events.
