Health and human services professionals are invited to attend the workshop, “Providing Culturally Responsive Care and Education: There Really is More to Know!,” 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Oct. 9-10 at Fresno State in the Henry Madden Library Auditorium, Room 2206. Presented by VISIONS, Inc. (Vigorous InterventionS In Ongoing Settings) and the Central California Children’s Institute of Fresno State, the workshop is designed to raise the cultural literacy and responsiveness of health and human services professionals and educators who work with youth and adults from low-income, economically disenfranchised neighborhoods in the Central Valley.
