Homecoming fever ramps up at Fresno State today with seven university offices competing to win the annual Fresno State Staff Assembly Homecoming Office-Decorating Contest in the spirit of this year’s “throwback” homecoming theme. Judging takes place 2:40-4:30 p.m. today (Oct. 17) starting at the Madden Library. The winner, which will be announced at the monthly Red Friday event 9-10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in the USU Pavilion, receives the perpetual Bulldog Statue to display for the year. Photos will be posted Friday at Staff Assembly. INFO: Grace I. Liu, Fresno State Staff Assembly, 559.278.0857.

Students will continue their homecoming fun today at the volleyball game at 7 p.m. in the Save Mart Center. The new Bulldog Pride Zone kicks off in the upstairs foyer from 6-7 p.m.  with free pizza, games, prizes and an Ultimate Fan-Decorating Station. The winners of the student club Homecoming Banner-Decorating Contest will be announced during intermission of the game.
