The Phebe McClatchy Conley Classic Lecture Series at Fresno State continues 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, with Dr. Erich Gruen of the University of California, Berkeley discussing “Religious Pluralism in the Roman Empire: Did Judaism Test the Limits of Roman Tolerance?” The lecture will be held in McLane Hall Building, room 121. Gruen is a Gladys Rehard Wood professor of history and classic emeritus at Berkeley.
