This week’s CineCulture film, “A Raisin in the Sun,” will be screened at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, in the Leon S. and Pete P. Peters Educational Center in the Student Recreation Center (Woodrow and Shaw avenues). The 128 minute-film features the Younger family, who is frustrated with living in its crowded Chicago apartment and sees the arrival of a $10,000 insurance check as the answer to its prayers. The Department of Theatre Arts is a co-sponsor with professors Thomas Whit-Ellis and Kathleen McKinley as discussants. INFO: Mary Husain at mhusain@csufresno.edu or CineCulture.
