California State University Chancellor Timothy P. White — one of Fresno State’s most prominent alumni — visited campus Wednesday, Nov. 13, to meet with students, faculty, staff and community members.

“It is great to see the chancellor visit his alma mater,” said Associated Students Inc. president Moses Menchaca. “We know this will be a memorable campus visit for him as well as the rest of the Fresno State community.”

White was honored in 1997 as the Fresno State Alumni Association’s Top Dog Distinguished Alumnus.

This marks White’s first official visit to the campus since taking office as CSU chancellor in December 2012. The 23-campus CSU system is the largest four-year system of higher education in the United States.
