Fresno State’s Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. is observing Latino Literacy Week through Friday, Nov. 22, with fundraisers each day from noon-3 p.m. on campus for Latino non-profit organizations dedicated to promote literacy for Latino children. The sorority is selling raffle tickets and bookmarks in the Free Speech Area. The handmade bookmarks are $3 or $5 for two. The raffle is for a chance to win a gift basket. The sorority also will present its “Literacy: Face the Facts” exhibition in the Free Speech Area on Friday, Nov. 22, and a fundraiser dance, Noche de Baile Tropical, from 7-10 p.m. Friday at The Bucket.
