The 26th annual Christmas in México folkloric dance show will be presented by Fresno State’s Los Danzantes de Aztlán troupe from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Satellite Student Union.

The show, one of the oldest folkloric winter programs in the Valley, features several local Mexican folkloric troupes in an event that links the university to the surrounding communities.

In addition to Los Danzantes, which is based in the Department of Chicano and Latin American Studies, other groups performing will be Los Danzantes de Aztlán Juvenil, Grupo Folklórico de Fresno City College,  El Alma de Clovis High and the CLAS 106 Beginning Mexican Dance Class.

Danzantes students are pre-selling tickets for $8. At the door, tickets are $10 and $8 for students. Parking on campus is free on weekends.

This Christmas show is sponsored by Los Danzantes de Aztlán, the Department of Chicano and Latin American Studies, Fresno State and an Instructionally Related Activities grant from the Associated Students Inc.
