CineCulture will screen the film “I Am David” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at the Leon S. and Pete P. Peters Educational Center in the Student Recreation Center (Woodrow and Shaw avenues). The 84-minute film explores a small instance of humanity in the otherwise inhuman existence within a Cold War concentration camp. When given a chance to escape, the protagonist struggles to cope in the strange new world where his only resources are a compass, a few crusts of bread, aching feet and some vague advice to seek refuge.
