The Latin American Film Festival ends this week with the film “The Death of Pinochet” at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Alice Peters Auditorium in the Peters Business Building. Discussants will be directors Bettina Perut and Ivan Osnovikoff. The 67-minute film (Spanish with English subtitles) discusses how General Pinochet’s death reawakened the political divisions that marked Chile’s recent history with dictatorship, death and violence.
