The first of three seminars to help students learn more about their university, “Fresno State 101,” will be held today (Jan. 28) from 4-6 p.m. in the University Student Union, room 117. The event, presented by the Associated Students, Inc., is designed to educate students about the inner workings of the CSU system, Fresno State and ASI. Featured guests include Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro; Pam Lewis from the Office of Budget Management; Paul Caprioglio, Fresno City Council member for District 4; and Chief David Huerta of the Fresno State Police Department. Participating students will receive a certificate of completion and dinner will be provided with each seminar. The other two sessions will be Feb. 4 and 11. Advanced registration required.
