The Provost’s Awards Lecture Series at Fresno State resumes with its spring line-up at noon Wednesday, Feb. 12, when Dr. Shane Moreman, Communication professor, speaks in the Henry Madden Library (second floor, room 2206). Moreman received a 2013-14 Provost Award for graduate teaching and mentoring. His lecture, “The Creative Assets of Our Latina/o Students: Lessons from Graduate Students at a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI)” is a free event open to Fresno State faculty and staff. The series honors and showcases each year’s recipients of the Provost’s Award to provide them the opportunity to share their work with the campus. Refreshments will be served.
