Nigerian author Godwin Boswell Akubue will read from his book, “Cow Without Tail,” at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11 at Fresno State’s Henry Madden Library, room 2206. The free, public event is presented as part of African Peoples History Month by the Central Valley Cultural Heritage Institute in collaboration with the Jewish Studies Association and the Madden Library Diversity Committee. Akubue will explore the genetic and cultural connection between the Jewish people of Israel and the Igbo people of Nigeria.
