This week’s CineCulture film kicks off African Peoples History Month at Fresno State with “Glory Road” at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, in the Leon S. and Pete P. Peters Educational Center at the Student Recreation Center (Woodrow and Shaw avenues). The discussant following the film will be Harry Flournoy, who is portrayed by Mechad Brooks in the 106-minute film that depicts a true-life story of the 1966 Texas Western College basketball team that broke racial barriers when it won the NCAA national title with the first all-black starting line-up.
