The Fresno AskCHIS workshop is underway from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. today (Feb. 25) at the UCSF Fresno Center for Medical Education and Research (155 N. Fresno St.). The training is designed for participants in the Fresno area who have never or rarely used the California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) data or have limited experience in using online health data. John Capitman, executive director of co-sponsor Central Valley Health Policy Institute at Fresno State, will share practical applications of California Health Interview Survey data and recent findings from CVHPI research projects. The AskCHIS community workshops are supported with funding from Kaiser Permanente and The California Endowment.
