Michael Sidney Fosberg’s one-man show, “Incognito”, will be presented at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20 at the Wahlberg Recital Hall in the Music Building at Fresno State.

The free, public performance depicts how at the age of 34, writer/performer Fosberg began a quest to find his biological father. Along the way he uncovered life-changing information that would forever alter the dynamics of his family. He has been presenting his show for more than 10 years.

The event is co-sponsored by the Fresno State Central Valley Cultural Heritage Institute (CVCHI)and the Africana Studies Department as part of African Peoples’ History Month.

“This performance deals with issues surrounding identity, ethnicity, and diversity that are relevant to everyone in our community,” said Dr. Francine L. Oputa, CVCHI director.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Seating is limited.

There will also be two workshops leading up to the show: “Theater Arts” from 12:30 – 2 p.m. and “Diversity and Multiculturalism” from 4:30 – 6 p.m. in the Henry Madden Library, room 2206.
