CineCulture and Filmworks will screen “The Invisible Woman” at 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 14 at the Tower Theatre (815 E. Olive Ave.). The 112-minute film is a British period-piece about famed Victorian novelist Charles Dickens that Variety calls “brilliantly acted, vibrantly alive and pulsing with subtle eroticism.” The film tells the true story of the great author’s protracted and clandestine affair with Nelly Ternan. Tickets are $10 for general public and $8 for students and senior citizens and can be purchased by check or cash at the Tower Theatre box office.
