The launch of the publication of “Inside Constantinople: A Diplomat’s Diary During the Dardanelles Expedition, April-September, 1915” by Lewis Einstein was accomplished in cooperation with the Fresno State Armenian Studies Program. The book stresses the moral stand the United States embassy took in shining light on the plight of the Armenian people. The Armenian Students Organization and the Leon S. Peters Foundation will co-sponsor a lecture, marking the launch of the book with guest presenter Ara Sarafian of the Gomidas Institute in London. The lecture is titled, “Saving Americans: the United States and the Armenian Genocide Thesis, 1915.” It will take place at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 1 in the Alice Peters Auditorium (Room 191) in the University Business Center.
