A weeklong celebration of Earth Day is scheduled this week at Fresno State, beginning with a spin-and-win contest from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (April 1) in the Free Speech Area on campus to learn fun facts and earn prizes. A free screening of the energy documentary, “Switch” will be from 6:30-8 p.m. today in McLane Hall, Room 161, presented by Fresno State’s AAPG (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) Club. The trailer can be viewed at www.switchenergyproject.com. The Earth Day Fair will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, April 4. Earth Day at Fresno State is presented by the Fresno State Sustainability Project, the College of Science and Mathematics and the CSU Campus as a Living Lab Grant. Full release to come.
