Fresno State’s Literatures, Arts and Cultures of the Americas Program, Department of Social Work Education, RCS Fresno and Tools for Peace present a free, interactive seminar on social justice and self-care 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 23 at the Henry Madden Library, Room 2206. The series is open to the public and will focus on ways people can take care of one another and integrate self-care in finding remedies for injustice. Speakers include Dr. Michael Yellow Bird of Humboldt State University and Lauren Witcher of Tools for Peace non-profit organization.
