Dr. Cristina Herrera, Chicano and Latin American studies professor, will be honored from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 for the publication of her book, “Contemporary Chicana Literature: (Re)Writing the Maternal Script.” The free, public reception in the Vintage Room at Fresno State is hosted by the Department of Chicano and Latin American Studies and the Literatures, Arts and Cultures of the Americas.
