The Fresno Chaffee Zoo will host Ag Day at its Valley Farm exhibit from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, May 17. The event is free with regular zoo admission and will feature sheep shearing demonstrations, food and produce vendors and activities for children. Designed to educate young people about agriculture, the new exhibit was a joint project of the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Fresno Chaffee Zoo, Gar and Esther Tootelian Charitable Foundation, Bennett & Bennett Irrigation and the Fresno County Farm Bureau.
