Kiranjit Dhanjan, an economics and political science major from Clovis and vice president of external affairs for Fresno State’s Associated Students Inc., is among 28 student leaders participating in the 15th annual Student Leadership Seminar this week at the Panetta Institute for Public Policy in Seaside. The week-long seminar, which concludes Saturday, provides students with leadership skills through workshop presentations, events and exercises led by industry professionals. Special guests include Leon E. Panetta, institute chairman and former United States secretary of defense, and local and state officials, reporters and civic leaders. The conference is among several Panetta Institute programs to inspire participation in public service.
