The Fresno Community Chorus master chorale is now making audition appointments for singers in all voice parts for its 2014-2015 season. Auditions will be held in mid-August. Rehearsals will begin Aug. 26 and will be Tuesdays from 7:30-9:40 p.m. The regular concert season will open Nov. 15 with a performance of George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah.” The 100-plus member choir is comprised of physicians, lawyers, teachers, students, retirees and homemakers as well as professional musicians and music educators. Under the direction of Dr. Anna Hamre, Fresno State music professor, the choir has performed internationally and will tour in Greece in June.
