Fresno State Grape Day will be from 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Aug. 5, featuring keynote speaker Jamal Rayyis, a U.S. correspondent and wine critic. Advance registration by July 31 is $20. The informal field day and morning workshop is designed for grape growers, managers, pest control advisers, winemakers and winery personnel. Hosted by Fresno State’s Department of Viticulture and Enology, Grape Day will focus on issues and solutions concerning grape growers and winemakers.
