FresWOW Weeks of Welcome is kick-starting Fresno State’s first full week of classes by providing Bulldog Breakfast for students from 7:30-10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26. Free drinks and healthy treats, along with campus maps and pencils, will be offered at the Free Speech Area speaker’s platform outside the University Student Union. Additional events for Tuesday will be Turnt Up Tuesday and Club Sports Expo from 4-7 p.m., when the Student Recreation Center will host an open house featuring a live DJ and chances to win prizes to encourage participation in club sports. Students will be able to tour the center’s facilities, explore fitness classes and intramural opportunities and learn more about Club Sports tryouts. Traditions Day will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27 in the Free Speech Area. Welcome Black, a reception for new and returning African and African-American students and employees, will be from 5-7 p.m. in the North Gym, Room 118.
