With the first day of classes underway at Fresno State, the ‘FresWOW’  Weeks of Welcome continues today (Aug. 21) until 3 p.m., with welcome tents set up around campus. Volunteers and orientation leaders from Dog Days are greeting students at booths located in front of the Family Food and Science building, the Speech Arts building and the Free Speech Area where maps, planners and other goodies will be given away. From 7-10 p.m. Friday (Aug. 22),   ‘FresWOW’ goes Hawaiian with a luau pool party featuring a live steel drum band followed by a showing of the Disney movie Maleficent at the Fresno State Aquatics Center.
