This week’s CineCulture film, “Soft Vengeance: Albie Sachs and the New South Africa,” will be screened at 5 p.m. Friday Sept. 19 in the Leon S. and Pete P. Peters Educational Center in the Student Recreation Center (Woodrow and Shaw avenues). The free, public showing is part of the Ethics Lecture Series. A discussion by director Abby Ginzberg will follow the film. The event is sponsored by the Fresno State Jewish Studies Certificate Program, Jewish Studies Association, the Ethics Center, Peace and Conflict Studies, the Prentice Womack Fund and the Africana Studies Program.
