Diana M. Ralls, director of Financial Aid and Scholarships at UC Merced, was named chief-of-staff for Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro, effective Jan. 5, 2015. Ralls, a Fresno State alumna, has held a number of key leadership roles at UC Merced for the last 16 years. As chief-of-staff, Ralls will report directly to Castro and ensure that the Office of the President is service-focused and runs effectively. She will also work closely with the president and his cabinet on special projects and initiatives that advance Fresno State.
