The Fresno State Sustainability Project will host a free, public Sustainability Summit

from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14 at the Viticulture and Enology Research Center conference room (2360 E. Barstow Ave., between Cedar and Maple avenues). A reception follows the summit. RSVP is required by Nov. 7. Attendees will develop a mission statement and strategic plan for infusing sustainability into learning, research, campus planning and community engagement. The summit will feature speakers and an expert panel from the University, the surrounding community and the California State University Chancellor’s Office as well as breakout sessions to develop take-away projects.
