Fresno State will host the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, in the Satellite Student Union to address current issues affecting the Hispanic community and the global arena. Congressional speakers and corporate executives will discuss public service, leadership and entrepreneurship among today’s students. More than 200 student interns, young professionals, congressional staffers and community leaders are expected to attend the half-day conference and career networking luncheon. The institute is open to enrolled students at Fresno State, community colleges and high schools by registering. Walk-ins are also welcome.
