The College of Health and Human Services at Fresno State announced a new fundraising campaign that allows donors to double their investment for student scholars: the Presidential Collaborative. Gifts up to $150,000 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the offices of the university president and the provost. The funds can be designated to any of these CHHS academic programs: Honors Scholars, the Doctorate in Nursing Practice or the Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Support of the Honors Scholars Program benefits students of all seven health and human services majors: Communicative Disorders and Deaf Studies, Kinesiology, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Public Health, Recreation Administration and Social Work Education. “A gift to the Presidential Collaborative will not only help the colleges’ mission, but will also play a role in improving the wellbeing of Central California,” said Dr. Jody Hironaka-Juteau, CHHS dean.  INFO: Dana Lucka, development director, 559.278.3603.
