With the theme, “Bullying — Human Rights Violation Against Freedom, Equality, Dignity and Respect,” Fresno State’s recognition of Human Rights Day will be 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the North Gym Room 118. The free, public event is presented by the Human Rights Coalition of the Central Valley and the Fresno County Office of Education with the support of more than 30 groups and organizations. Fresno County Superior Court Judge David Gottlieb will be the keynote speaker. Two panels will be presented with the first consisting of students and parents who will share first-hand experiences of bullying issues in schools. The second panel will feature experts discussing policies, procedures and possible solutions. Breakout sessions will follow with the audience sharing reactions and responses.
