This week’s CineCulture film, “Siddharth,” will screen at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 in the Leon S. and Pete P. Peters Educational Center in the Student Recreation Center (Woodrow and Shaw avenues). Inspired by a true story, the film tells the story of a poor father who sends his 12-year-old son, away for work, only to learn that he may have been taken by child-traffickers. With little resources and no connections, the father travels across India to find his child. The 96-minute film will be shown in Hindi language with English subtitles. Following the film will be a discussion with the film’s director, Richie Mehta. The event is free and open to the public. And campus parking is free after 4 p.m. on Fridays. INFO: Dr. Mary Husain, CineCulture adviser, at mhusain@csufresno.edu or Tom Boroujeni, club president, at farrokh@mail.fresnostate.edu.
