To commemorate “National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day,” Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro has directed that the U.S. and California flags on Fresno State property and at university events be posted at half-staff on Sunday, Dec. 7 and Monday, Dec. 8 from sunrise to sunset each day.
On Sunday at 2 p.m., Fresno State students will observe a moment of silence during the Marketing 188 Candy Cause event at the university’s main flag poles at the Rose Garden Veterans Memorial Monument south of the Thomas Administration Building. The public is invited.
