Marilyn Chin, a widely anthologized author whose works have become classics of Asian American literature, will read at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20 in the Alice Peters Auditorium (Peters Business building, Room 191). A two-time recipient of National Endowment for the Arts grants in poetry and a five-time winner of the Pushcart Prize, Chin’s writing has appeared in The Norton Anthology of Modern and Contemporary Poetry. She teaches creative writing at San Diego State. The reading is the fourth in the Spring 2015 Reading Series hosted by the Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing at Fresno State and the Fresno Poets’ Association.
