The Fresno State Teacher Recruitment Fair from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, March 12 at the Fresno Convention Center New Exhibit Hall (848 M St.) in downtown Fresno will draw more than 200 Fresno State students and alumni looking for work in the education field.

Hosted by Fresno State’s Kremen School of Education and Human Development, the recruitment fair is free for current credential program students. The cost for alumni is $25, payable via check or money order at check-in.

The fair will feature over 90 school districts recruiting graduates and future graduates of the Kremen School, which is an accredited college that educates administrators, counselors and teachers at all grade levels.

Districts from across the state will be represented, including Fresno, Clovis, Bakersfield and Los Angeles. Districts from the Colorado, Oregon and Washington will also be on hand, said Jessica Choy, Teacher Recruitment Fair coordinator.

A full list of participating districts is available at the event website.

Attendees are asked to bring a current resume, philosophy statement, transcripts, proof of ED-JOIN registration and three letters of recommendation.

Choy encourages candidates to research the districts that interest them and sign up for interviews during the first 30 minutes of the fair.
