The Fresno State Fashion Merchandising Club will host its fifth annual Spring Fashion Show from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 21 at the Satellite Student Union.

Admission is free with a student ID and $5 to the general public.

More than 50 designs and styles by eight student designers will be showcased ranging from casual to evening wear. The biggest event of the year for the 20-student club will consist of opening and closing dance performances and a runway show.

A raffle will cap the event, and the audience can meet the designers and enjoy refreshments. Various outfits and jewelry will also be available for sale.

“This is a great chance for our students to showcase all of their hard work the past year to the campus and community,” said club president Danika Brumbeloe, a junior. “It’s also an opportunity for them to learn about event planning and help prepare for careers in the industry.”

This year’s theme is “All Dolled Up” and encourages students to create looks based on doll collections.

The club is sponsored by the fashion merchandising program and part of the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology and Department of Child, Family and Consumer Sciences.
