The 2015 Hip-hop research and interview project in the Africana Studies program at Fresno State, presents a free, public talk with MC Kool Moe Dee from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11 in the Henry Madden Library, Room 2206.

Prominent in the late 1970s through the early ’90s, Kool Moe Dee was one of the first rappers to earn a Grammy Award and was the first rapper to perform at the Grammys, said Dr. T. Hasan Johnson, assistant professor for the Africana Studies program who is the founder and director of the project.

Parking in Lots 30 and 31 on Barton (south from Shaw) is $3 for a day permit available at dispensers (see map).
