University hosts first comic convention March 21-22

Fresno State’s “Pick Your Potion” club and University Courtyard will host FresCon 2015, the first comic convention at Fresno State, March 21 and 22 in the North Gym, Room 118. Saturday’s session from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. will feature vendors and panels before concluding with a masquerade contest from 7-9 p.m. Sunday’s vendors and panels are from 10 a.m.-3p.m., concluding with the USU Productions showing of “Big Hero 6” in the Satellite Student Union at 4 p.m. It is free and open to the public but some gaming tournaments will be held with independent entry fees that will benefit the Fresno State Student Cupboard (or with canned food donation).
