Stephone Paige, former Kansas City Chiefs NFL star and Bulldogs wide receiver, will be the keynote speaker when the Fresno State student-athlete alumni chapter hosts its first Club Red Inaugural Mixer and Fundraiser from 3:30 – 6 p.m. Saturday, April 25 at the Thiesen-Dueker Suite Deck in Bulldog Stadium. Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro and his wife Mary will join Director of Athletics Jim Bartko in welcoming back alumni from all Bulldog sports and eras, donors, community leaders and the current coaching staff. Tickets are $30 each and will include heavy appetizers, desert and complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks. Silent auction items and “unique bulldog experiences” will also be featured at the event, in addition to free tickets for both Bulldogs games that evening: softball at 6 p.m. v. Nevada and baseball at 6:35 p.m. v. San Diego State. Proceeds will support current Bulldog student-athletes through a Club Red donation to the Bulldog Foundation annual scholarship fund, as well as a separate gift to Valley Children’s Hospital.
