Final update: The Fresno State Police Department has confirmed that the suspect is in custody.
The Fresno Police Department responded to Hoover High School on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at approximately 11 a.m. regarding a 15-year-old white male who was suspended yesterday. He was stopped by a school resource officer and he had a semi-automatic handgun. He fled and is possibly in the area of First and Shaw avenues.
